Delete My Account & Data
You can permanently delete your Vapp account and personal data at any time, whether or not you have the app installed.
What gets deleted
- Your name, bio, avatar, and public username
- Your support contact handle (WhatsApp/Telegram)
- Your saved payout details (bank account or crypto wallet address)
- Your password — the account can no longer be logged into
- Your push-notification registration
What we keep, and why
We retain your financial transaction history (purchases, Show entries, gifts, tips, earnings, withdrawals) even after deletion. This is an immutable accounting ledger required for tax, fraud-prevention, and legal-compliance purposes — it's kept under your account's original email, but is no longer linked to any usable profile, login, or contact information. Once deleted, that email address can't be used to create a new Vapp account.
If your wallet has a positive NGN balance, withdraw it first — deletion is blocked until it's zero, so no funds are ever stranded.
How to delete your account
- Log in to your Vapp account (on vappshow.live or in the app).
- Come back to this page, or open Profile → Danger Zone.
- Confirm your password and type "DELETE" to permanently delete your account.
Can't log in anymore (lost access to your email or password)? Email support@vappshow.live from your account's registered email address and ask us to delete your account — we'll verify and confirm by email.
